CCC's Homecoming Concert with Between Friends

The Cornell Concert Commission is excited to present Homecoming Concert with Between Friends! It'll be a DJ set on Saturday, October 17th at Barton Hall. Tickets start at $17 for students!

BETWEEN FRIENDS is a lifelong musical collaboration and experiment in creativity between brother-sister duo, Sav and Brandon Hudson. Raised in Fort Lauderdale and Los Angeles, they've been creating music together since childhood, nurturing an artistic relationship that defies labels and nudges the boundaries of experimental pop through a glitchy, eclectic sonic environment that echoes the spirit of the glowing blue light of their computer screens — a reflection of their upbringing and the limitless digital landscape that surrounds them. Known for their effortless aesthetic, sleek production, infectious hooks, and emotionally sharp songwriting, they have built a devoted following through their distinct visual world and DIY approach.

Emerging in 2019 with their breakout EP we just need some time together, BETWEEN FRIENDS quickly became a staple of bedroom pop. The duo's standout track "affection" resonated globally, amassing over 600 million streams — and capturing the restless essence of their generation. Over the next few years the duo expanded their discography with a series of ambitious releases, a kaleidoscopic homage to the mixtape era, including i like when you shine! (2021), I Love My Girl, She's My Boy (2023), several singles and mini-EPs, and most recently, their critically acclaimed sophomore album, WOW!, which arrived in August 2025. Showcasing standout tracks including “Jam,” “DJ,” and “XD,” and made around the world with a list of impressive collaborators, WOW! was quickly followed up with a sold-out headlining tour across North America and Europe. The duo's 2026 calendar includes a major festival run and will further solidify their place as one of the most forward-thinking and visually cohesive acts in contemporary pop.
