PAO Bhangra XXII

PAO Bhangra XXII is Cornell Bhangra’s annual bhangra exhibition which aims to share Punjabi culture with the larger community and promote the aspect of bhangra we love the most – the joy of performing! Along with showing their appreciation for bhangra through performances such as the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (2023) and AGT (2014), Cornell Bhangra brings PAO Bhangra back to Ithaca every year to allow Bhangra teams from all over to come and perform on a stage for an amazing crowd. We have received praise from the North American Bhangra circuit for the hospitality that PAO Bhangra provides on campus and in the community, bringing together students, faculty, and Ithaca residents for a day of dance, culture, and healthy competition. We are hoping to spread the joy of Bhangra beyond Cornell’s campus and into the greater Ithaca community through this wonderful event in the State Theatre of Ithaca.
