PAO Bhangra XXIII
PAO Bhangra XXIII is Cornell Bhangra’s annual Bhangra exhibition which aims to share Punjabi culture with the larger community and promote the aspect of Bhangra we love the most – the joy of performing! PAO Bhangra features teams from around the nation and has been praised by the North American Bhangra circuit for the hospitality that it provides on campus and in the community. It has grown into one of the largest student-run show on campus and is #57 in The Cornell Daily Sun list of “161 things to do before you graduate.” This year, we are excited to share that all proceeds of the event go towards Ithaca Welcomes Refugees, a non-profit organization in Tompkins County, NY. Along with showing their appreciation for Bhangra through performances such as the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (2023) and AGT (2014), Cornell Bhangra brings PAO Bhangra back to Ithaca every year! We are hoping to spread the joy of Bhangra beyond Cornell’s campus and into the greater Ithaca community through this wonderful event in Barton Hall on Cornell's campus!
