What does it mean to truly inhabit a song? In this special edition of the Cornell Voice Program’s 

 will lead student singers and pianists in an evening centered on the intimate relationship between text, music, imagination, and embodied performance in contemporary American art song. Drawing from more than seventy years of repertoire by composers including 

Margaret Bonds, George Crumb, Caroline Shaw

, and others, the acclaimed American soprano and teacher will explore with participants the distinctive interpretive demands—and expressive treasures—of contemporary song.

General Admission

The purchased ticket is good only for the event and seat/section for which it is issued and is not transferable. The ticket is a limited revocable license and may be revoked and admission refunded at the sole discretion of the sponsoring organization. Cornell University and/or the sponsoring organization reserves the right, without refund of any portion of the ticket price, to refuse admission or eject any person whose conduct is deemed disorderly or fails to comply with the terms and conditions contained herein.

Unauthorized or unlawful distribution, resale or attempted resale is grounds for seizure and cancellation without compensation. Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources may be lost, stolen or counterfeit, and if so are void. The ticket cannot be replaced if lost, destroyed or stolen. In the event of cancellation, refunds will be available for three weeks only. Refund information will be available at CornellTickets.com. If event is postponed and rescheduled for another date within three (3) months of scheduled date, the ticket shall be valid for the rescheduled date, and refunds will not be issued under any circumstances.
